N & R: Capture Pro 10, GoPro gimbal and more

Things are still pretty quiet on the news/rumour front, but there are a few small noteworthy items about a new version of Phase One Capture One Pro; GoPro releasing their gimbal as a standalone product; Casio announcing a GoPro competitor designed for low light; Think Tank have a new outlet; Instagram have more comment control features; and Olympus have suspended latest firmware for the EM-1 due to bug reports.

Capture One Pro 10

Capture Pro 10 has been released, but without any particular standout features. Reportedly comes with improved speed and efficiency, some new sharpening tools, and some extra cameras and lens profiles.

Considering how lacking their lens profile selection is compared to Adobe RAW, they really should do more work in this area.

GoPro

GoPro have had to recall their Karma drone, as well as lay off 200 staff, but they have now offered the gimbal from the drone as a standalone product.

Casio

If you're after a GoPro alternative that works better in low light, Casio may have an answer for you with their EX-FR110H. Despite the fluff piece on DPReview, people in the comments have shown this is unlikely to challenge a m43 in low light, little less a full frame DSLR.

Think Tank

After a Think Tank bag, but can't afford the price? They now have an outlet where you can potentially pick up discounted goods. However, reportedly, this is a US only service only.

Instagram

There are now more comment controls in Instagram, and the ability to remove users from private accounts without blocking them.

Olympus

If you have an EM-1, and were considering upgrading your firmware to 4.2, it is advisable to delay. Olympus have suspended firmware 4.2 and are looking into the bugs.
