N&R: Changing formats...

I haven't posted one of these summaries in a while. I was planning to until suddenly Canon released a new DSLR, seemingly starting a new line, and I just couldn't bring myself to try to work out what all the Canon lines are. The thought of no longer doing this summary crossed my mind, but instead I am going to try a briefer format. (edit: I failed.)

News and Rumours: Canon, Nikon, Nissin, Panasonic, Samyang, Sony, Adobe, Eye-Fi and F-Stop

In this week's summary:

  • More about the Canon W-E1 wifi accessory and the 5D Mark IV
  • Nikon has a D3400 on the way
  • Delays in the Nissin i60a, but should you buy?

  • Nikon - DPReview reviews the D5, and some early rumours of a new mirrorless system.
  • Olympus - New PRO lenses coming.
  • Sony - Reports next Zeiss Loxia will be telephoto, and delays from earthquake aftermath.
  • Nissin - the new Nissin i60A for Sony has been delayed until August.
  • DxO Optics - DxO OpticsPro 11 has been released with advanced noise reduction.
  • Huawei/Leica - DPReview has reviewed the Huawei P9 camera.


The one touch zoom on the Nikon D5 sounds very convenient for review.
