News and Rumour Thursday - Sony and Instagram

In this weeks summary:
  • Instagram: Now having multiple accounts on a single device is available to all.
  • Sony: Initial reports on the new G Master lenses, a new Batis and the new MIS TTL cable is in stock.
  • Nikon: The Nikon D500 has been delayed until end of April.

Sony

Still no announcement or test shots on the 70-200 f./2.8, but multiple sites have initial thoughts on the 85mm and 24-70mm. It seems the 85mm f/1.4 is capturing people's attention more. Personally, I am interested to see how it really compares to the Zeiss Batis 85mm.

Reports are that the 85mm f/1.4 and 24-70mm f/2.8 will ship in America on March 4.

Speaking of Zeiss Batis, Sony Alpha Rumors is reporting that Zeiss will shortly announce an 18mm f/2.8 Batis, and that it won't be the only Batis announced this year.

In the past, people with both a personal and a professional Instagram account could only have one operating on a device at a time. The software app now supports multiple accounts.
